Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you (“Client”, “you”) and Centre: Pilates (“we”, “us”, or “Studio”), operated by its qualified instructor/owner, located at 30 Plus Health & Performance, Hockley.
By accessing our website, booking appointments, purchasing class blocks, or participating in studio sessions, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Bookings, Advance Reservations & Square Up Integration
All appointments, private apparatus sessions, duet bookings, small group classes, and block purchases are booked, scheduled, and processed in advance through our third-party provider, Square (Squareup International Ltd / Block, Inc.).
Due to limited apparatus and small class capacities, all sessions and term-time Mat Pilates classes must be reserved in advance via the online booking system or direct prior arrangement with the Studio.
Third-Party Platform Agreement
By purchasing or booking via the Square booking link (Square Appointments), you agree to comply with and be bound by Square’s Buyer & Customer Terms of Service in addition to these studio policies. All financial card transactions are governed by Square’s encrypted payment system and PCI-DSS requirements.
3. Studio Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
To respect our instructors and other clients on our waitlists, Centre: Pilates enforces a standard 24-hour cancellation window:
- Cancellation Notice: Cancellations or reschedule requests must be submitted at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled session time via Square Appointments or direct written communication.
- Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice or non-attendance will be charged at the full session rate or deducted from your active package/block.
- Studio Cancellations: In the rare event the Studio must cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive full credit to rebook at your convenience.
4. Health, Physical Readiness & Assumption of Risk
Pilates exercises involve apparatus with springs, straps, and moving parts (including Balanced Body NextGen Reformer with Tower and specialized Mat props). While sessions are guided with expert cueing and care:
- You confirm that you are in good physical condition and have no medical reason or impairment that might prevent you from safely participating in exercise.
- You agree to notify the instructor of any pre-existing injuries, medical conditions, medications, or pregnancy prior to the commencement of every session.
- You acknowledge that physical exercise carries inherent risks of injury. You knowingly and voluntarily assume all such risks and release Centre: Pilates and its instructors from liability for personal injury resulting from non-negligent instruction or failure to disclose medical conditions.
5. Studio Etiquette & Attire
- Footwear: For hygiene and safety on the apparatus, clean grip socks (non-slip) are required for all studio apparatus sessions.
- Punctuality: Please arrive on time. Warm-up and postural preparation at the beginning of each session are vital for movement safety.
- Attire: Form-fitting, comfortable athletic clothing without sharp zippers or exposed metal that could damage equipment or impede movement assessment is recommended.
6. Class Passes, Blocks & Expirations
Class packages and multi-session blocks are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable unless agreed in writing by the Studio owner.
- Standard Multi-Session Packages: 5-session and 10-session packages carry an expiry period of 6 months from the date of purchase.
- Founding Client Offers (10-session apparatus packages): Must be purchased by 31 December 2026. Future package purchases revert to the standard studio rate.
- Introductory Mat Offer Package (8 classes for £40):
- Purchase Deadline: The introductory rate of £40 is available to purchase strictly until 31 December 2026.
- Validity Period: Each introductory package is valid for two calendar months from the exact date of purchase.
- Rollover Rule: Unused classes may be taken in 2027, provided they fall strictly within the two-calendar-month validity window from the date of purchase. Any classes remaining after the two-calendar-month period will expire automatically.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
